Synopsis: It has been seen recently that animations are sure hits in Hollywood. After Shrek Forever After, its time for Toy Story 3 to fascinate the  movie going crowd. It is yet another adventure of Woddy and his team.

This time a daycare centre has been chosen as the backdrop of the movie, where Woddy  and the gang ended up after being discarded by their previous owner with Andy, who is now bound for college. The plot soon reveals that their new home is far from being a peaceful place.

The daycare centre toy sanctuary is ruled by Lots-of-huggin Bear (voice over was by Ned Beatty, who has done an outstanding job). Upon arriving at the daycare centre the toys soon find out that it was meant for the toddlers, who are not generally nice to the toys. Also they felt miserable by being bullied by Lotso the bear, who rules the toys sanctuary with an iron fist.

Woddy and his old friends teamed up to escape from the daycare centre. But it has proved to be a difficult job as Lotso after learning about their plan has tightened the security measures. However, Woddy and team successfully escaped to Andy’s home. The film ends on a happy note when Andy bids goodbye after playing for the final time with his toys and the toys are meant to be donated to a little girl named Bonnie.

Review: The film tried to dwell on the midlife crisis of the toys when their owners have outgrown them and they no longer fit into their changing lifestyle. Pixer has done a good job in maintaining the original handcraft look  for the toys of the initial film.

The actors were appropriate in their jobs of voice over but Ned Beatty deserves a special mentioning. He has done an outstanding job for Lotso bear.

The film ends where a new box of toys enters the daycare centre which contains Zurgs figure, and this carries promises of another addition to this franchise. And, the job that Pixer has done with this last three films, it would be worth waiting for another adventure of Woddy and gang.
