Synopsis: The A-Team belongs to the action film genre. The film opens with the creation of the A team, which after eighty years and eighty successful missions  has become a highly-regarded elite combat unit.

This time the A team supremo Hannibal was contacted by CIA agent Lynch, who needs their help to steal the plates and over a billion dollars of counterfeit currency from Iraqi insurgents. However, the mission backfires when the shipping container carrying the counterfeit plates and Morrison’s  (who was the commanding officer of Hannibal) car was  destroyed by the men of Brock Pike of private security firm Black Forest.

With Morrison gone, who was the only proof that Hannibal and his team was operating for USA, the A-Team members were grossly dishonored, tried and sentenced for ten years in Federal prisons.

Later, Lynch met Hannibal and escaped from prison with his assistance. Hannibal reorganized the team and launched an assault against Pike. However, to their dismay the team learns that the Arab, in reality, is Morrison, who’s working in team with Pike after double-crossing Lynch.

The film ends with Lynch being revealed as the perpetrator of the plan and taken into custody by the CIA.

Review: The A-Team was a adaptation of the 1980′s TV series of the same name. However, according to many of the movie goers, the film failed to live upto the expectation. Though Liam Nesson was the right pick for Hannibal and Bradley Cooper was appropriate as Face with his roguish charm, the others have failed to make a mark in the movie. The inclusion of Jessica Biel was just an eye-candy for the viewers.

As a final note, the movie was a disappointment for many, especially for those who were a fan of the TV series  from which it has been adopted.
